It’s hard to believe, but it’s already been almost a month since Solo Leveling brought its second season to an epic close. Yet here we are — fans around the world still holding their breath, anxiously waiting for any official word on whether a third season is on the horizon. Given how massive Season 2 turned out to be, you’d think an announcement would have been a no-brainer by now. But strangely enough, the creators have kept quiet… until recently.
Solo Leveling Season 3 Release Date By Producer?
Luckily, it looks like our patience might finally pay off. On April 25, 2025, Atsushi Kaneko — the producer behind Solo Leveling at A-1 Pictures — jumped onto X (formerly Twitter) and dropped a pretty big hint. In a spirited post, Kaneko teased some “grateful f○○kin’ happy news” on the way. Even better, he tagged Crunchyroll and threw in a few Solo Leveling hashtags, leaving no doubt that he was talking about our beloved series — and not some unrelated project.
Here’s the original post from Kaneko:

While Kaneko didn’t spell out exactly what the announcement would be, the timing has sparked a wave of excitement among fans. After all, with how insanely popular Season 2 became — smashing streaming records and bringing even more attention to the franchise — it’s honestly baffling that Solo Leveling Season 3 Release Date hasn’t already been locked in.
Adding more fuel to the fire, Solo Leveling also recently revealed a Blu-ray release for the anime. That news alone hints that bigger plans could be brewing — whether that’s the long-awaited Season 3 or maybe even a full-length movie. On top of that, Chugong, the original creator of Solo Leveling, had previously hinted that something big was planned for mid-2025. Could all these teases be connected? It’s starting to look that way.
As of now, we still don’t have a confirmed release date for Solo Leveling Season 3. But with all these hints piling up, it feels like a major announcement could drop any day now. If you’re a fan, now’s the time to keep an eye on the anime’s official website and social media pages — because the next chapter in this epic story might be closer than you think
The wait has been long, but it looks like the payoff is almost here. Stay tuned — it won’t be long before the shadows rise once again.
