Surprisingly, it comes from the same creator as Noblesse, another popular webtoon that Production I.G. turned into an anime back in 2020. The story, written by Son Jeho and illustrated by ZHENA from Girls of the Wild’s, follows Kayden—a skilled assassin who ends up stuck in the body of a chubby tabby cat—and Jiwoo, a kind-hearted young guy. Together, they take on evil while also providing plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments.

The anime adaptation of Noblesse didn’t quite live up to expectations, but Eleceed feels different. It’s got a unique mix of action, comedy, and character depth that really makes it stand out. The quirky premise and strong character designs make it feel like this could be the manhwa adaptation that finally breaks the mold.
